Summer Road Projects Slated for Lake in the Hills

Did your street make the village of Lake in the Hills' list for resurfacing this summer? 

Construction is currently underway on the resurfacing projects and is expected to be completed in September.  

"The project will consist of grinding existing asphalt surface and then placement of new asphalt riding surface," according to the village of Lake in the Hills public works department website, which provides updates on projects. "Also select concrete curb and drive aprons will be replaced."

The following roadways will be resurfaced this summer:

• Council Trail from Shawnee Drive to Jessie Road
• Michael Court from Anderson Drive to Michael Court
• Barbara Court from Anderson Drive to Barbara Court
• Kurt Court from Anderson Drive to the end of Kurt Court
• Bonnie Court from Anderson Drive to the end of Bonnie Court
• Lisa Court from Grace Drive to the end of Lisa Court
• Elizabeth Court from Willow Street to the end of Elizabeth Court
• Viewpoint Drive from Sierra Court to Grace Drive
• Anderson Drive from Grace Drive to Joseph Street
• Joseph Street from Anderson Drive to Anderson Drive
• David Street from Anderson Drive to Anderson Drive
• Poplar Street from Plum Street to Hilltop Drive
• Cherry Street from Plum Street to Cedar Street
• Sycamore Street from Hilltop Drive to the end of Sycamore Street
• Heartland Gate from Miller Road to Starwood Pass
• Hilltop Drive from Ash Street to Willow Street
• Harvest Gate from Thunder Ridge to the end of Harvest Gate

In addition, maintenance work will be completed on the following streets throughout LITH and will consist of sealing existing pavement cracks: 

• Village Creek Drive from Crystal Lake Road to Crystal Lake Road
• Acorn Lane from Oakleaf Road to Wander Way
• Oakleaf Road from Acorn Lane to Algonquin Road
• Wander Way from Indian Trail to Algonquin Road
• Pheasant Trail from Oakleaf Road to Wander Way
• Deerpath Road from Oakleaf Road to Wander Way
• Hunters Path from Oakleaf Road to Wander Way
• Woody Way from Oakleaf Road to Wander Way
