Student Art Exhibit This Week in Algonquin

The Algonquin Public Arts Commission is hosting the exhibit this Thursday, April 18 through Saturday, April 20.

The Algonquin Public Arts Commission will hold its second annual Student Art Exhibit at the William J. Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive, on April 18 through 20.

Approximately 35 pieces of artwork from local middle school students will be on display in a variety of different media, including painting, drawing, print, and metal.

An opening reception with light refreshments will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., and the exhibit will continue to be on display Friday, April 19, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon.
