State Rep.’s Website Outlines District 66

New website let voters see down to the street level what areas newly drawn district includes.

State Rep. Mike Tryon’s office still fields a lot of phone calls from people confused by legislative boundaries.

They do not know whether Tryon represents them or not.

“The new district boundaries are confusing,” Tryon said in a press release.

Tryon’s new legislative website includes an interactive map of the new District 66.

“Now people can look at a map on the District tab, pull the map down to their street level, and see if they live in District 66,” Tryon said.

The new web site includes many new features, including a biography page and a news page that is complete with up-to-date press releases and legislative updates. The site also includes a link to Tryon’s current legislation and a listing of his current committee assignments.

Constituents can also contact Tryon directly through a “Contact” link on the new site.

“I’m very excited about this new contact feature, because it should improve and enhance constituent service for the people in District 66,” Tryon said.

A final new feature of the new site will allow people to see and follow Tryon’s Twitter posts from the House floor.

“As more and more people turn to Twitter for news, I will post comments in real time as action unfolds in the Illinois House,” Tryon said. “I’m really excited to start using these new interactive tools on my website.”
