Social Media, Conflict Resolution Topics for LITH Police

Social media can be helpful by raising awareness of issues or can be funny and it can fuel rivalries, help spread rumors and create havoc in a teen’s life.

Lake in the Hills police and the Marlowe Middle School PTO explored Social Media and Conflict Resolution at a Community Educational Presentation forum fro 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 13 at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills.

Police officers will discuss situations that have occurred in Lake in the Hills and surrounding schools. Organizers said there have been several instances of fights at local parks and physical violence in schools.
