Say Thanks to Our Troops this Holiday Season

The United Service Organizations, or USO, provides a web page that allows people to offer messages of thanks to troops overseas.

The holiday season can be a difficult time for those serving in the U.S. military and far from home. 

As a way to help spread some holiday cheer and raise their spirits while serving our country, the United Service Organizations, or USO, has created a website that allows people from all over to enter messages of thanks that can be viewed by anyone. 

You also can enter your ZIP code and view messages provided by others in the area. Here is a sampling of messages left by those living in Lake in the Hills ZIP code of 60156:
