Rotary Club, Local Bank Donate $55,000 to LITH Veterans Memorial

So far, $95,000 in donations have been made to the proposed Veterans Memorial.

The Lake in the Hills Rotary Club donated $45,000 and a local bank kicked in $10,00 to help fund a proposed Veterans Memorial possible in Lake in the Hills. 

During a May 20 Committee of a Whole meeting, the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club announced a $45,000 donation for the construction of the Veterans Memorial at the Lake in the Hills Village Hall.  

Two days later, Castle Bank announced at the Board of Trustees meeting a $10,000 donation to the memorial, which is meant to honor and thank veterans and military personnel. 

The village of Lake in the Hills is still seeking donations for the memorial, which should cost an estimated $150,000. So far, $95,000 in donations have been made.  

Donations to help support the construction of the Veterans Memorial can be made at both Lake in the Hills Castle Bank locations as well as at Village Hall.
