Presentations Aimed at Explaining New Health Coverage Options

The McHenry County Department of Health will offer several presentations in coming weeks.

 McHenry County Department of Health (MCDH) will host informational sessions for residents to learn more about health insurance options through “Get Covered Illinois”. 

Trained counselors will be on-hand at the following locations:

Nov. 4: Algonquin Public Library, 2600 Harnish Drive, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Nov 5: Harvard-Diggins Library, 900 E McKinley Street, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Nov 6: Huntley Area Public Library, 11000 Ruth Road, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Nov 7: Woodstock Public Library, 414 W Judd Street, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Nov 7: Harvard-Diggins Library, 900 E McKinley Street, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Nov. 9: A presentation in Spanish will be offered at the Wonder Lake Chamber of Commerce, 7602 Hancock Drive, from noon to 2 p.m. 

“Get Covered Illinois” – the Official Health Insurance Marketplace – offers a new way for Illinois residents to find the health coverage they need.
