Portion of Prairie Trail in Algonquin Closed Through April

A bridge replacement project will close a portion of the Prairie Trail in Algonquin through April

The Meyer North Bridge will be replaced and the trail will be closed from just north of the Meyer Road parking lot to just south of Rakow Road, according to the McHenry County Conservation District website. No traffic will be allowed on the trail in that area. 

Those who frequent the Prairie Trail can sign up for e-mail alerts from the MCCD regarding any temporary trail closures along the Prairie Trail, according to the MCCD website.
