LITH Hosts Presentation on Proper Home Maintenance

Property maintenance will take center stage at an open house hosted by the village of Lake in the Hills in coming weeks.
The Community Development Department will host the presentation from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 at the Safety Education Center, 1109 Crystal Lake Road in Lake in the Hills, according to a village of Lake in the Hills press release.
The presentation will touch on the following topics: property maintenance regulations, how to file a complaint, department procedures on addressing violations and the effects of foreclosures on property maintenance, according to the news release.

Residents will also get the chance to ask questions and obtain information regarding any spring or summer projects they may be planning and what the requirements are to obtain a permit, according to the news release. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
