Lake in the Hills Searching for New Deputy Public Works Director

LITH's deputy public works director Manny Gomez, who also served as the village's airport manager, resigned last month.

Lake in the Hills is once again in need of a deputy public works director/ airport manager, the First Electric Newspaper reports.

Former deputy public works director Manny Gomez resigned last month, and took a job in the private sector, FEN reports. Gomez is the third person in recent years to leave the position, which also includes duties as the LITH airport manager.

Gomez had replaced T.J. Moore, who left the LITH job in 2011 to accept the position of public works director for DeKalb. Prior, Dave Gregoria retired in 2009 and moved to Florida, the FEN reports. In the meantime, LITH public works director Fred Mullard is supervising the airport.
