Kane County Forest Preserve Hosts 'Nature by Stroller' Strolls

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will be offering a “Nature by Stroller” program series, that will allow moms to take their infants or toddlers on a guided hike through an area forest preserve.

A guided “Nature by Stroller” program hike will take place form 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Dick Young Forest Preserve, 39W115 Main St. in Batavia, and on May 16 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Fitchie Creek Forest Preserve, 39W933 Russell Road in Elgin. Attendees should use the Main Street entrance during the Batavia event and use the Russell Road entrance during the Elgin event.

The relaxed walks will be held on a “stroller-friendly trail” and “fussy as well as quiet babies are welcome” on this guided stroll, according to the press release.
