Trustee Barb Read is resigning after two years on good terms, officials told the Northwest Herald.

A trustee is resigning from the Algonquin-LITH fire protection district board, according to an article in the Northwest Herald.

Barb Read, who was elected in 2009 to a six-year term, has resigned after two years.

The article stated Read left the board on good terms.
