Edgewood Drive in Algonquin will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, June 1, to 7 a.m. on Monday, June 3, to finalize bridge work on the newly constructed roadway.
Edgewood Drive will be closed between Cardinal Drive and Main Street, according to the village of Algonquin.
The 36-hour closure will allow construction crews to apply concrete sealant to the bridge elements.
Edgewood Drive traffic will be detoured to Beach Drive via Cardinal Drive. Signs will be posted indicating the detour route. Additional construction information may be found online at www.algonquin.org.
