Early Voting For Local Races Kicks Off Monday

Those looking to cast ballot early can do so at Lake in the Hills village hall.

Voters will be able to cast their ballot early starting this Monday.

Local races up for election this spring include the village of Lake in the Hills Board of Trustees and local school board seats, as well as open seats for local fire protection districts, park districts and library boards.

Election day is April 5 this spring but early voting will be held Monday through March 31 at the. Early voting will take place at the following times:

  • Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Satruday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday, 9 a.m. to noon
  • Saturday, March 26, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those voting must bring a current driver's license, a state-issued ID card or another government-issued card with a photograph, according to the village of LITH press release.
