The event will be held Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dispose of your old, unwanted electronics at the village of Algonquin’s e-waste recycling event on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the public works facility, 110 Meyer Drive (north of Algonquin Road). It is open only to Algonquin residents, proof of residency is required.

Algonquin residents recycled 69,110 pounds at last year’s event. Beginning in 2012 state law will prohibit disposal of computers, monitors, printers and TVs in landfills.
