Developers Look for More Time on Algonquin Subdivision Project

The economy has stalled the project slated for an area north of Highland Avenue and east of Presidential Park in Algonquin, according to the Northwest Herald.

Developers of a planned subdivision north of Highland Avenue and east of Presidential Park in Algonquin are asking the village for more time to get the project going, according to the Northwest Herald. 

No work has begun on the planned Prairie Path subdivision as the economic slowdown has hindered the project, according to the article. The Northwest Herald reports the developers,  Terra Cotta Realty and Kennedy Homes, are asking for 10 year extension on its annexation agreement, which is set to expire in spring 2014.
