Commission Orders Suspension, Fines for Liquor Violations

Representatives from Algonquin Food & Liquor, Trader Joe's and Riverview Restaurant all appeared before the Algonquin Liquor Control Commission Tuesday night.

The Algonquin Liquor Control Commission ordered a 15-day liquor license suspension Tuesday for an Algonquin liquor store that sold alcohol to a minor in recent months.  

This is the third liquor violation for Algonquin Food & Liquor, 1117 South Main St. in Algonquin, with the businesses first offense occurring in 2008 and its second offense occurring this past May, route: {:controller=>"articles", :action=>"show", :id=>"penalties-ordered-for-algonquin-businesses-that-sold-alcohol-to-minors"} -->, 800 South Randall Road in Algonquin, and
