Cary Votes to Disconnect Land, LITH Could Annex For Recycling Facility

The Northwest Herald is reporting the Cary Village Board voted Tuesday to disconnect 19 acres of its land on Route 31 south of Rakow Road.

The Cary village board voted Tuesday to disconnect 19 acres of its land immediately south of Rakow Road on Route 31, which could allow the village of Lake in the Hills to annex the land, according to a Northwest Herald article.

The annexed land is meant to be used for an asphalt and concrete recycling facility, according to the article.
