Starbucks asked for a variation to the village sign code allowing it to install an off-site monument sign that is located next to Chubby’s. The sign was installed in 2007, but the businesses that requested have closed, staff said.

Chubby’s has its name on the monument and agreed to share it with Starbucks. The board approved the request.
