Algonquin Offering Styrofoam Recycling

Bins will be located at the public works facility from now through Jan. 31.

Now through Jan. 31, Algonquin residents can drop off Styrofoam or other foam plastic products for recycling at the public works facility, 110 Meyer Drive.

Bins will be located to the right of the building, near the fence.

Items accepted include: white block Syrofoam, packing peanuts and cleaned carryout containers. Please make sure containers are cleaned for health and safety reasons. Please note that polystyrene containers are not accepted.
