Algonquin Grants Liquor Licenses to Three Restaurants

Niko's Lodge, Colonial Cafe and Burnt Toast will all be able to serve alcoholic beverages.

The village board granted liquor licenses to three dining establishments at its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

, 2555 Bunker Hill Drive, and Burnt Toast, 2520 Bunker Hill Drive, were granted Class F liquor licenses, which permits the sale of beer and wine, but not liquor.

Niko's Lodge, which is expected to open shortly this year, was granted a Class A-1, which permits the sale of alcoholic liquor only for consumption on the specified premises and where the main source of sales is food and not liquor.
