How much will this cost? Sorry, don't want to be too cynical but Algonquin has some planning/cost issues (eg. Tyvek tower, growing government and employees that follow). If you tag something with "patriotism" I am afraid politicians will feel compelled to spend...

All the countless hours of sore backs, cut fingers, blistered feet, and sunburn skin came free of charge. Not a single cent came from taxpayer's pocket. Labor and materials were provided by fundraising, donations, and the firefighters themselves.

Hi Kevin, I hope so as I may be forced out of this town soon from the cost of living here, though I would argue that the land was not free. When I moved here over 20 years ago it was a volunteer organization. Listen I get that this mass murder was horrific and we all sacrifice for our society, I am an EMT also. Too bad our politicians use these things for their own agenda... sorry again if this sounds cynical, just the way I see it (trillion dollar wars etc...).
