Blotter: Teens Arrested on Burglary Charges

The Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Monday and Tuesday.

Burglary Arrest

A follow-up arrest of a 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was made at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake in the Hills Police Department. The boy was arrested on a burglary charge and later released to a parent.

Two 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boys were arrested in the 2800 block of Sorrel Row about 7:41 p.m. Tuesday — one on a charge of burglary to a motor vehicle and the other on a charge of theft. The boys were later released to a parent.

Lake in the Hills Police were called about 5:26 p.m. Tuesday regarding a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred last week in the 10 block of Wander Way. The complainant failed to file a report.

Accident/Driving Under the Influence of Drugs

An 18-year-old Huntley woman was arrested in the 4000 block of Coyote Lakes Circle about 12:15 p.m. Monday on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs. She later was released on bond. 

Trespass to Residence

Police received a report about 6:56 a.m. Monday that a male subject entered the car in a garage in the 3900 block of Wisteria Court. The trespassing report was turned over to investigations. 

Injury Accident

Two were taken to an area hospital from injuries sustained during a three-vehicle crash at Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive about 7:55 a.m. Monday. A 40-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were each taken to Sherman Hospital for head injuries.
