Teen Injured When Bike, Vehicle Collide
The accident occurred along a bike trail near Frank Road and Coyote Lakes Circle.
A 14-year-old bicyclist struck the side of a car about 12:51 p.m. Sunday while riding along a bike path that runs parallel to Frank Road.
Carol J. Felvey, of 4775 Coyote Lakes Circle, Lake in the Hills, had turned onto Frank Road from Coyote Lakes Circle when the accident occurred, said Lake in the Hills police Sgt. Ted Ziarkowski.
The girl rode into the right side of the car, flipping over the handlebars and over the roof of the car, Ziarkowski said.

The girl left the scene on her own, but later was taken to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock to be checked out, police said. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
The case remains under investigation.
