"Hey FB family...it is with a broken heart that I tell you that Bill Foley was located last night and he is deceased. We are all so sad, but we know he is now at peace with his dad in heaven. I want to thank all of you for your efforts, thoughts, prayers, shares, cares, signing of the petition, writing stories, helping search, investigate and otherwise show support to us. Bill was a great brother, son, dad, uncle, cousin, husband and friend! He will be missed by many and he will never be forgotten. He was a Marine who served his country and he was a man who loved always. With sadness we will say goodbye to Bill, but with smiling hearts we are better people for having known Bill and been part of his life. Bill is now with God and we pray that God be with all of you for your support! We love you all!"

Foley, 55, was last seen around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, when he was leaving his job in Lombard, police said. His family reported him missing when he didn't return home.

A former Marine, Foley worked at an IT company in Lombard. He grew up in Lisle, where his mother still resides, but had lived in Downers Grove for more than 20 years.

The night before William disappeared, he celebrated the 22nd birthday of his daughter, Caitlyn. His wife, Vickie, told police he didn't say or do anything to indicate he was planning to leave, Jim said.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie, and daughter, Caitlyn, as well as his mother, six siblings and several nieces and nephews.
