Theft of Snowmobile
A snowmobile was reportedly stolen in the 9110 block of Pyott Road. The theft was reported at 9:33 a.m. Monday to Lake in the Hills Police, according to the police department’s daily bulletin.
Man Arrest for Protection Order Violation

A 56-year-old Lake in the Hills man was taken into custody at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road, early Wednesday morning. The man is accused of violating a protection order and was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

A delayed hit and run was reported at Chen’s Cuisine, 270 N. Randall Road, at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday.
Tobacco Ordinance Violations
Lake in the Hills Police handed out ordinance violations to two LITH businesses Tuesday night. The 7-Eleven, 4500 Algonquin Road, and Hills Food & Liquor, at 9541 Ackman Road both received violations for selling tobacco to a minor.
