Sheriff Arrests 15 Individuals During 'Warrant Roundup'

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest of 15 people wanted for outstanding arrest warrants out of McHenry County. 

The arrests were the result of a one-day arrest warrant roundup targeting narcotics violations led by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Apprehension Unit, Narcotics Unit, and Intelligence Unit, according to a Sheriff Keith Nygren.

In an effort to learn of ongoing criminal activity in drug related cases in McHenry County, various local agencies including the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Lake in the Hills Police Department, Cary Police Department, and Woodstock Police Department worked together to effect these arrests, Nygren said in a news release.

“All of these departments are members of the HEAT task force, and working together we are targeting heroin and illegal drug dealers in our county and beyond,” said Undersheriff Andrew Zinke. We want to encourage anyone with heroin, or illegal drug information to contact your local police, the Sheriff’s Office, or Crimestoppers.”

The arrest warrant roundup began in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 20, and ended in the afternoon. The arrest warrants were for misdemeanor and felony crimes.

Five of the individuals were charged on scene with additional felony and misdemeanor charges that were all narcotics related and $1,130 was seized from one subject, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office Arrested and Charged the Following Individuals:

Ethan M. Peltier, 23, 522 Willow St., Lake in the Hills. Peltier was wanted on warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis. Felony charges.

Michael J. Banet, 19, 99 Capella Ct., Lake in the Hills. Banet was wanted on warrant for unlawful deliver of a look-and-like substance, a felony.

James L. Neff, 36, 7119 Mohawk Dr., Wonder Lake. Neff was wanted on warrant for unlawful delivery/ possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Ciejay R. Concepcion, 17, 291 Bridlewood Circle, Lake in the Hills. Concepcion was wanted on warrant for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maureen M. Medel, 34, 446 Village Creek Dr., Lake in the Hills. Medel was wanted on warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony and misdemeanor charges.

James J. Boyle, 34, 750 St. Johns Rd., Woodstock. Boyle was wanted on warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Adam A. Nowakowski, 27, 3814 Dean St., Woodstock. Nowakowski was wanted on warrant for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, a felony.

Deborah A. Cash, 56, 807 Annabelle St., McHenry. Cash was wanted on warrant for delivery of cannabis, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony and misdemeanor charges

Daniel C. Cash, 28, 807 Annabelle St., McHenry. Cash was wanted on warrant for delivery of cannabis and possession of cannabis, felony charges.

Lindsay L. Lamarche, 28, 807 Annabelle St., McHenry. Lamarche was wanted on warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Leo A. Nelson, 21, 981 Mesa Dr., Lake in the Hills. Nelson was wanted on warrant for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Angelo V. Bernardo, 21, 975 Blackberry Ct., Lake in the Hills. Bernardo was wanted on warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.  

Russell W. Kaar, 23, 1404 N. Millstream Rd., McHenry. Kaar was wanted on warrant for delivery/ manufacturing cannabis, a felony.

Julio C. Fuentes, 35, 6412 Hillcrest Rd., Cary. Fuentes was wanted on warrant for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and driving while license revoked, a felony.  

Ricky Pearce, 32, 1503 Northfield Ct., Harvard. Pearce was wanted on warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
