Stolen Vehicle, Drug Charges Land 3 in Jail

Driving Under the Influence

Police pulled over a 21-year-old Crystal Lake man at Rakow and Pyott roads about 2:22 a.m. Nov. 27. Police arrested the man on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, and speeding in a construction zone. He later was released on bond.

Police pulled over a 36-year-old McHenry man at Rakow and Virginia roads at 2:44 a.m. Nov. 27 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, and speeding in a construction zone.

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested a 20-year-old Crystal Lake woman at 3:27 a.m. Nov. 27 at , 241 N. Randall Road, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic-control device, driving without headlights when required and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. She later was released on bond.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 33-year-old Woodstock man at Rakow and Pingree roads at 3:34 a.m. Nov. 27. He was arrested on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense. He was also charged with driving while license suspended, driving with a defective windshield and driving without insurance. He was transported to McHenry County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested a 47-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Oakleaf Road and Woody Way on several charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting a peace officer, aggravated assault and improper lane use. He was taken to Sherman Hospital for an evaluation and later was released on bond.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 27-year-old Rockford man at Algonquin and Crystal Lake roads at 11:24 p.m. Nov. 27 on charges of driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration, defective windshield and driving without valid insurance. He later was released on bond.

Ambulance Called to Moretti’s

An ambulance was called to , 220 N. Randall Road, at 4:10 a.m. Nov. 27 and transported a 24-year-old man who was highly intoxicated to Sherman Hospital.

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

Two men and one woman were arrested at Springlake Drive and Miller Road at 2:46 a.m. Nov. 26 on various drug and possession of a stolen vehicle charges. Police arrested them on the following charges:

• A 23-year-old Des Plaines man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a stolen vehicle. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail.
• A 19-year-old Schaumburg man was charged with possession of marijuana. He later was released on bond.
• A 20-year-old Bolingbrook woman was charged with theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. She later was released on bond.

Battery

Police received a report of a battery between a male and a female at , 220 N. Randall Road.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Police arrested a 19-year-old Huntley man at Hickory Road and Hawthorne Road at 2 p.m. Nov. 24 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He later was released on bond.

Wanted on Warrant

Police arrested a 20-year-old Lake in the Hills man at 5:13 p.m. Nov. 24 on a Carpentersville Police Department warrant for failure to appear for resisting a police officer. He later was released on bond.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 31-year-old Algonquin man near Bunker Hill Road and Randall Road at 7:34 a.m. Nov. 23 on charges of driving while license suspended and expired registration. He later was released on bond.

Domestic Battery

Police conducted a follow-up arrest at Cigarettes Depot, 162 N. Randall Road, at 4:10 a.m. Nov. 23. Police arrested a 48-year-old Lake in the Hills woman on two counts of domestic battery. The woman was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.

Domestic Battery

Police arrested a 52-year-old Lake in the Hills man in the 400 block of Winslow Way at 12:01 p.m. Nov. 23 on two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.

Hit and Run

Police responded to the 500 block of Savoy Drive at 5:49 a.m. Nov. 23 for a report of a mailbox and a tree struck by an unknown vehicle.

Improper Use of Registration

Police arrested a 38-year-old Crystal Lake woman at 7:26 p.m. Nov. 22 near 6900 Rakow Road on charges of improper registration, expired registration, registration suspended for mandatory insurance violation and driving without insurance. The woman later was released on bond.

Marijuana Found

Police received a report of marijuana found in the 4000 block of Bordeaux Drive at 12:31 p.m. Nov. 22. The marijuana was entered into evidence.

Hit and Run at Dominick’s

Police received a report of a vehicle struck in the parking lot at , 101 N. Randall Road, at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 22.
