See Giant Plumes of Smoke Yesterday?

The smoke came from controlled burns on March 16.

Did you happen to see some of the giant plumes of smoke yesterday? No need to worry, no houses or buildings were on fire. That smoke was coming from the controlled burns today, said Captain Charlie Teson from the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Fire District.

The burns were conducted by the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Fire District and the McHenry County Conservation District.
