McHenry County Police Dog Honored at K-9 Memorial
Police from throughout the area paid their respects to Storm and Kilo on Thursday in Libertyville.
Two police dogs that died this past year were honored Thursday at the Northern Illinois K-9 Police Memorial in Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, according to the Northwest Herald.
Police from throughout the area, and their police dogs, came to pay respects to Storm, who started with the McHenry County Sheriff's Office in 2005 and died in March, and Kilo, who was with the North Chicago Police Department and died in February, according to the Northwest Herald.
