Police Charge Wheeling Man in Lake Zurich McDonald’s Stabbing

Maxwell S. Younger, 21, was charged with three felony counts of aggravated battery.

Lake Zurich Police charged a 21-year-old Wheeling man with three felony counts of aggravated battery in the according to Commander David Bradstreet.

Maxwell S. Younger, of 699 Cherrywood Dr. Wheeling, was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated battery in a public place and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The charges are class 3 felonies and are punishable by two to five years in a state penitentiary.  Younger's bond was set at $50,000. He is in custody of the Lake County Sheriff, said Bradstreet.

Younger invoked his 5th amendment rights and did not provide police with information regarding the incident, Bradstreet said.

The crime appears to be random. Bradstreet said they spoke to the 21-year-old victim who said he did not know the offender and the stabbing occurred after a confrontation in the parking lot.

Bradstreet said Younger has no prior police record. Police are still investigating the incident and are still interested in speaking to another person who may have been involved, Bradstreet said.

Well, DaddyO, you're nothing if not repetitive....computers can be hard to learn to use for older folks. Maybe it's time for you to move on to your next rant...or to practice your "jazz hands."

@daddyO reading up on your first few comments...no that wasn't his mother. even if it was that was very disrespectful to say they failed with max. he's grown and knows right from wrong so his parents have nothing to do with it. with thay being said knowing right from wrong if you knew anything about max you would know that there would obviously be more to this story. of course it is not out there yet as to what ACTUALLY happen opposed to what is being published because there is no proof of anything its all he said she said. 2 peoples voice against maxs alone is obviously going to power over anything max has to say up until it is discussed with the judge. so before u go and say anything ..shut up until you know the facts. max is humorus kind gental person, perfectly fine mentally, in the national guard and a very smart guy.
