Police Called to Underage Drinking Party; Woman Arrested for Domestic Battery

Lake in the Hills Police Department officers responded to several calls on Monday.

Underage Drinking on Pheasant Trail

Police responded to the 20 block of Pheasant Trail around 4 a.m. Monday for a report of an underage drinking party. A 19-year-old Lake in the Hills man was cited for hosting the party and illegal consumption of alcohol. Five other area men and women were also cited for illegal consumption of alcohol.

  • An 18-year-old Lake in the Hills man who was given a notice to appear in court.
  • A 19-year-old Schaumburg man who was given a notice to appear in court.
  • A 20-year-old Lake in the Hills woman who was given a notice to appear in court.
  • A 21-year-old Carpentersville man who was given a notice to appear in court.
  • A 17-year-old Algonquin boy who was released to his parents.

Woman Arrested for Domestic Battery

A 45-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was arrested around 7:42 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Starwood Pass on two counts of domestic battery. She was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Four-Vehicle Crash on Rakow Curve

Police were called to the scene of a four-vehicle accident on the "Rakow Curve," which is near 6900 Rakow Road, around 6:44 a.m. Monday. Property was damaged, but no one was injured. 

Theft of Copper

 Police were called to Material Services, 10005 S. Route 31, around 9:10 a.m. Monday for a report of copper stolen from the business.

Theft at Bank of America

Lake in the Hills Police are investigating a report of theft at Bank of America, 2450 Algonquin Road. The report was made around 10:25 a.m. Monday.

Bike Stolen on Poplar Street

Police were called to the 1100 block of Poplar Street around 3:59 p.m. Monday for a report of a bike that was stolen from a front porch.
