Police Blotter: Sex Offender Arrested at LITH Park; Man Charged With Aggravated Intimidation

The following arrests were made by the Algonquin and Lake in the Hills police department between July 11 through July 13.

The following arrests were made by the Algonquin and Lake in the Hills police department between July 11 through July 13. 

Domestic Battery
Algonquin Police arrested Patrick P. Sullivan, 20, of 210 E. Algonquin Road #H in Algonquin, at 9:35 a.m. on July 11. He was taken into custody at McDonald's, 500 E. Algonquin Road, and charged with domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing. 

Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 

Lake in the Hills Police arrested James A. Winans, 44, of Pensacola, Flor., at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, at 9:06 p.m. on July 11. He was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana and registered sex offender in a public park. Police also arrested Robert D. Koch, 42, of Cassville, Wis., and charged him with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. Both were released on bond. 

Retail Theft
Algonquin Police arrested Scott B. Singleton, 23, of 118 Perry Drive in Algonquin, at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive, at 10:30 a.m. on July 12. He was charged with retail theft and released on a notice to appear with a court date of Aug. 27 in Algonquin. 

DUI, Reckless Driving

Algonquin Police arrested Andrew J. Sutton, 31, of 822 Candlewood Drive in Cary, at 2:55 a.m. on July 13 at Fox Trail and Cary-Algonquin Road. He was charged with DUI, aggravated intimidation, reckless driving, improper lane usage and no proof of insurance. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing. 

Retail Theft
A 13-year-old Lake in the Hills girl was charged with retail theft at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive, at 9:11 a.m. on July 13. She was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Aug. 27 in Algonquin. 

Domestic Battery/Warrant
Richard M. Allen, Jr., 42, of Lake in the Hills, was arrested in the 2100 block of Daybreak Drive on two counts of domestic battery at 6:24 a.m. on July 13. He was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for Failure to Appear, petition to revoke driver's license. A $8,000 bond was ordered and he was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Domestic Battery
Lake in the Hills Police arrested Melissa S. Day, 34, of Lake in the Hills, in the 3000 block of Hillsboro Lane at 7:45 p.m. on July 13. She was charged with two counts of domestic battery and turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
