Police Blotter Dec. 24 - 25: Domestic Battery

Lake in the Hills Police Department reports the following from Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25.

Outstanding Warrant Arrests

Damien Spikener-Wilkins, 25, 1902 Sheila, Woodstock, was arrested at 5:26 a.m. Dec. 24, for driving while license suspended. Wilkins also was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Aurora for possession of marijuana, police said. Spikener-Wilkins’ bond was set at $500, and he was transported to McHenry County Jail.

David R. Hufkens, 28, 2423 Division St., Mishawaka, Indiana, was arrested at 12:25 p.m. Dec. 25, on an in-state warrant for a crime against a person. Bond for Hufkens was set at $4,000. He was released on bond.

Deer vs. Car Accident

Lake in the Hills received a report of a car hitting a deer at approximately 7:46 p.m. Dec. 24, in the area of Illinois Route 31 and Trinity Drive. The accident involved property damage to the car. No injuries were reported.

Domestic Battery

Francisco Morales, 42, 1419 Adams St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:52 p.m.  Dec. 25, on two counts of domestic battery. Morales was transported to McHenry County Jail.

David A. Broad, 18, 1419 Adams St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Dec. 25, in the 1400 block of Adams Street on two counts of domestic battery. Broad was transported to McHenry County Jail.

Two-car Accident

Police responded to a two-car accident at 2:45 p.m. on Dec. 25, at the intersection of Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive. Property damage was reported. No injuries were sustained, police said.
