Algonquin, LITH Police Blotter: April 5-April 8

The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following reports and made various arrests between March 26 through March 31, 2012. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

3:56 a.m. April 8, 2012: Police arrested Edith Guzman, 23, of 402 E. Oak St. in Lake in the Hills, for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and not wearing corrective lenses when required. She was arrested at North Randall Road and Alexandra Boulevard. She was later released on bond. 

7:32 p.m. April 8, 2012: Police responded to Randall and Miller roads for a two-vehicle crash. A 53-year-old woman was transported to Woodstock Memorial Hospital. 

3:56 a.m. April 12, 2012: Police arrested Souliya O. Chanthala, 23, of Huntley, at 2370 W. Algonquin Road for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content over .08 and improper lane usage. He was later released on bond.

10:46 p.m. April 7, 2012: Police arrested Zachary J. Colandrea, 37, of Crystal Lake, at East Oak Street and Burr Street in Lake in the Hlls for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was later released on bond. 

4:58 a.m. April 7, 2012: Police received a report regarding a purse stolen from a subject at the bar at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Road. The report was turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department's investigations team. 

11:02 a.m. April 6, 2012: Police arrested a 17-year-old Carpentersville boy and a 17-year-old West Dundee boy at , 2265 W. Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills. Both were arrested for disorderly conduct and were later released to a parent. 

4:16 a.m. April 5, 2012: Police arrested Gerardo Fernandez, 42, of Round Lake, at Pyott and Rakow roads in Lake in the Hills for unlawful use of a registration sticker, expired registration and no valid insurance. He was released on bond. 

7:56 a.m. April 5, 2012: Police arrested Leopoldo A. Trujillo III, 28, of Wheeling, in the 8400 block of Pyott Road for driving while license suspended and expired registration. He was later released on bond. 

8:47 p.m. April 5, 2012: Police arrested Justin K. Martin, 20, of Crystal Lake, at Randall Road and Acorn Lane on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear/crimes against a person and speeding. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail. 

5:09 p.m. April 5, 2012: Police responded to Acorn Lane and Acorn Court for a one-vehicle motorcycle crash. A 32-year-old man with a shoulder injury was taken to Sherman Hospital. 

8:49 p.m. April 5, 2012: Police responded to a four-vehicle accident at Randall and Algonquin roads. The offender in the accident left the scene. 

4:15 p.m. April 5, 2012: Police received a "theft by deception" complaint from , 1480 Imhoff Drive, in Lake in the Hills. They alleged a U-Haul truck was bought and the check was then cancelled. The report was turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department's investigations team.

5 p.m. April 5, 2012: Police arrested Amanda L. Koza, 24, of 601 Willow Street in Lake in the Hills, at her home and charged her with failure to notify after striking an unattended vehicle and improper lane usage. She was released after posting $150. She is next expected in court in McHenry County on May 16. 

2:01 p.m. April 6, 2012: Police arrested a 16-year-old Carpentersville boy at , 1410 S. Randall Road, and charged him with retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear with a court date of May 30 in Algonquin.

1:51 a.m. April 7, 2012: Police arrested Dana Y. Coleman, 28, of Chicago, and charged him with driving while license suspended, no headlights and no proof of insurance.  She was taken into custody at Randall Road and Harnish Drive.  She was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on May 16 in McHenry County.

04:15 a.m. April 7, 2012: Police arrested Allen C. Jeschke, 31, of Hebron, and charged him with driving under the influence, driving under the influence over and no proof of insurance. He was taken into custody at Huntington Drive and Rolls Drive.  He was released after posting $100 and his Illinois Driver’s License and is next expected in court in McHenry County on May 16. 

5:55 a.m. April 7, 2012: Jennifer M. Vigh, 20, of Crystal Lake, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, zero tolerance, improper lane usage, no proof of insurance and unlawful consumption/possession of alcohol by minor. She was taken into custody at Route 62 and N. Harrison Street.  She was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on May 9 in McHenry County.
