Plane Crashes in Woodstock; Suburban Couple Survives

The plane crashed in a bean field in Woodstock.

A Mundelein couple was forced to land their plane last weekend in a bean field in the 9400 block South Route 14 in Woodstock after the engine in the aerobatic sports plane failed, according to the Northwest Herald. 

The couple was enroute to Campbell Airport in Grayslake when the crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Saturday and neither pilot nor passenger was seriously injured, according to the article.
