Photo Gallery: Dozens of Kids Lunch With LITH Cops

The Lake in the Hills Police Department hosted the event and those interested in reserving a spot for the lunch on Aril 15 should reserve seats soon.

Juice and sausage pizzas were on the menu Friday at the Lunch with a Cop program at the Safety Education Center, which is located next to the Lake in the Hills Police Station, 1115 Crystal Lake Road.

But it was difficult getting many of the children to sit down and eat. They were jazzed up over a remote control police car that tooled around the lunchroom.

If you missed Friday's event, there will be another Lunch With a Cop event on April 15. James Wales, director of public safety for the LITH Police Department, said those interested in having lunch with village police should call ahead and make a reservation.
