One Killed in Arlington Park Metra Crash

The accident occurred Wednesday morning and is causing delays on the Northwest line.

An inbound Union Pacific Metra train on the Northwest line struck and killed a pedestrian around 7:30 a.m. near the Arlington Park station, according to the Chicago Tribune. 
   
The fatal accident occurred at Rohlwing Road on the Metra tracks near Arlington Park, according to the article. 

Just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, delays were being reported on the Northwest line. Inbound trains may be operating 40 to 120 minutes behind schedule and speed restricting are in effect from Arlington Park to Cumberland, according to Metra.
