Update: Motorcycle Collided With Car; Biker Recovering

Monday night accident on Algonquin Road leads to charges, injury.

 

The motorcyclist hit by a car, Monday, is recovering and in fair condition, an Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital spokesperson told the Northwest Herald.

A motorcyclist was injured, Monday night, when he collided with a Honda Accord in front of the Citgo station, 2150 E. Algonquin Rd., according to the Northwest Herald.

The accident occurred at 8:22 p.m., when the driver of the Honda allegedly pulled in front of the motorcycle.

Henry Cervantes, 58, of Fox Lake, was taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. The driver of the Honda, Robert E. Cronwell, 61, of DesPlaines was charged with failure to yield while exiting a private drive; he was not injured, according to the Northwest Herald.
