Man Hospitalized With Knife Wound; One in Custody
Police are investigating an incident reported this afternoon at 2881 Melbourne Lane in Lake in the Hills.
The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to 2881 Melbourne Lane in Lake in the Hills at 12:30 p.m. Friday for a report of a male subject in need of "medical attention," according to a police department release.
When officers arrived, they found the male outside the home with a knife wound to his neck, according to the release. The male subject was taken to a hospital.
According to the press release, a “male subject is currently in custody at the Lake in the Hills Police Department." No charges have been filed against the male that was in custody as of 4 p.m. Friday.
