Local Firefighters on Randall as Part of Fill the Boot Campaign
The Algonquin Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District is asking for the public's help in raising money for MDA.
Keep your eyes peeled for firefighters holding large boots along Randall Road Friday and Saturday.
The annual "Fill the Boot" campaign — an effort that raises money for MDA — is underway and the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District will have firefighters stationed at the intersection of Randall Road and Acorn Lane in Lake in the Hills from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, said Captain Joe Teson with the fire protection district.
They are asking for the public's help in filling their boots with donations to MDA.
