LITH Police Arrest Teen For Possessing Stolen Vehicle

Huntley Man Arrested for Stealing Vehicle

Lake in the Hills police arrested an 18-year-old Huntley man over the weekend for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and criminal damage to property. Matthew S. Zeis was charged Monday in conjunction with the arrest in McHenry County Court. He is charged with receiving/possessing/selling a stolen vehicle, knowingly damaging property under $300 and theft, according to online court records. He was arrested on Saturday around 11:37 p.m. in the 5500 block of Alexandria Drive. He is next expected in court on Thursday.

A 29-year-old Marengo man was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Lakewood Road around 2:58 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested for drunken driving and also cited for driving with an expired registration and with no valid insurance. He was later released on bond.

Battery Reported at Taco Bell

Police were called to Taco Bell, 231 N. Randall Road, for a report of two men fighting around 4:01 a.m. Sunday. The complaint is being investigated by the LITH Police Department.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

Lake in the Hills Police are investigating a complaint made around 9:03 a.m. Sunday regarding damage made to a vehicle's dashboard at some point overnight Saturday.

Reflectors Stolen From Properties on Hilltop Drive

A resident living in the 100 block of Hilltop Drive reported Sunday morning that eight blue reflective marker had been taken from a property. The theft is under investigation.

Aggravated Assault Reported at Bank

A complainant called police around 4:30 p.m. Sunday to report he'd had a knife pulled on him on Saturday. Lake in the Hills police are investigating the alleged assault.
