LITH Police Arrest Several People for Domestic Battery and DUIs

Note: The following information was obtained from the Lake in the Hills Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. 

DUI

Anthony M. Peco, 21, of the 5400 block of Whitmore Way, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 29, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was stopped by police near Walgreens, 4001 W. Algonquin Rd. He was released on bond. 

Anjelica M. Padilla-Jimenez, 35, of the 1000 block of Chestnut Circle, Sandwich, was arrested at 4 a.m. Jan. 10, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and no drivers license on person. She was stopped by police near Carlemont Drive and Village Road. She was released on bond. 

Battery

Sarah C. Johnson, 25, of the 6700 block of Hickory Nut Grove Rd., Cary, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. Dec. 29, at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Rd., and charged with two counts of battery. She was released on bond. 

Domestic Battery

Curtis Ward, 40, of the Acorn Lane, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Jan. 2, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Scott Templeman, 33, of the 200 block of Foxmoor Rd., Fox River Grove, was arrested at 5:38 p.m. Jan. 2, in the 100 block of Polaris Drive in LITH, and charged with violation of order of protection, unlawful interference with reporting a domestic, two counts domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

James L. Forssander, 56, of Hunters Path Rd., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Jan. 5, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Cory R. Hendrickson, 24, of the 1200 block of Burr St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 10:04 p.m. Jan. 6., and charged with criminal damage to property. He was released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Jakbu J. Slowik, 28, of the 1300 block of N. Parkview Terrace, Algonquin, was arrested on a warrant out of the Chicago Police Department for failure to appear in court to face charges of dangerous drugs.  He was stopped by police at ALgonquin Road and Talaga Drive. No bond was set. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

David B. Schau, 46, of the 1500 block of Monroe St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. Jan. 10, on a warrant from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court to face charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond. 

Revoked Drivers License

Jose Papalotzi, 36, of the 500 block of Somerset, Crystal Lake, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Jan. 9, and charged with driving while license revoked. He was stopped by police at Village Road and Carlemont Drive. He was released on bond.
