LITH Man Arrested on Drug Charges
Jason A. Gallagher was arrested Tuesday at his home on Poplar Avenue in Lake in the Hills.
A 32-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at his home on Poplar Street Tuesday on several drug charges.
Jason A. Gallagher, of 1106 Poplar Ave., faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controller substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a McHenry County Sheriff's Office news release.
The sheriff's office executed a search warrant at Gallagher's Poplar Avenue home on Tuesday and seized 125 grams of marijuana, two digital scales, packaging materials, 38 Diazepam pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. The street value of the drugs was estimated to be $1,440, according to the news release.
The sheriff's office initiated the investigation in marijuana sales being made from the Poplar street home after receiving multiple tips from the community, according to the news release.
