LITH Crash Leaves 3 Teenagers Injured

Lake in the Hills police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash last night that left three area teenagers injured, according to an article in the Chicago Tribune.

According to the article, a 19-year-old woman from Huntley was heading west on Algonquin Road when she turned her Chevrolet Cobalt left onto Lakewood Road, in front of a Ford Shay.

The Ford was carrying three teenage males. Both the driver, 19, and front seat passenger, 18, of the Ford were not wearing seatbelts and flew out of the Ford, police said.
The article stated they suffered "incapacitating injuries" and were taken to Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

The Huntley woman suffered non-life threatening injures and was taken to Woodstock Memorial. She was cited for failure to yield when turning left.
