Lake in the Hills Police Arrest Several for Domestic Battery, DUI

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

DUI

Gina A. Nelson, 30, of the 400 block of Concord Ave., South Elgin, was arrested at 3:57 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, improper lane use and no seat belt. She was released on bond. 

Steven W. Swanson, 24, of the 1100 block of Starwood Pass, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, near Ackman and Randall roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08, and improper lane use. He was released on bond. 

Scott Andryschowski, 33, of the 900 block of Noelle Bend, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 3:49 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Miller and Randall roads, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, disobeying a traffic control device, and no seat belt. He was released on bond. 

Domestic Battery

Hermann J. Lingwai, 62, of the 90 block of Hilltop Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:23 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.

Daisy J. Arellano, 22, of the 1900 block of Sebastain Dr., Woodstock, was arrested at 9:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Wexford Court and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

A 17-year-old Lake in the Hills juvenile was arrested at 9:42 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the 2000 block of Litchfield Lane and charged with two counts of domestic battery. 

Michael A. Emmerich, 50, of the 6000 block of Chestnut Ct., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, near Haligus and Reed roads on a warrant from McHenry County for failure to appear in court for domestic battery charges. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent. Emmerich was released on bond. 

Patrick Allen McDaniel, 26, of the 4600 block of Mackinac St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Battery

Clyde R. Hayden, 53, of the 500 block of Anderson, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, and charged with battery. He was released on bond.  Correction: Hayden was charged with battery, not robbery.

Violation of Order of Protection

Suzanne K. Rezab, 27, of the 300 block of Plum St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:42 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the 300 block of Wander Way, and charged with violation of an order of protection. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.
