LITH Police Searching for Walgreens Attempted Robber who Demanded Prescription Drugs
Lake in the Hills Police said a young, white man entered Walgreens on Friday, Jan. 10, and demanded prescription medications.
Lake in the Hills are searching for the man who walked into Walgreens on Friday and demanded prescription medications.
LITH Police said a young white man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt approached the pharmacy counter at about 11:44 p.m. Jan. 10, at the Walgreen's located at 100 N. Randall Rd., at the corner of Algonquin Road.

"A male walked up to the pharmacy counter, passed a note to the employee with a list of demanded prescription medications. No weapon was seen or implied," a LITH Police news release stated.
The man is described as:
- White
- About 20 years old,
- 5 feet 10 inches tall
- Thin build
- Wearing a black hooded style sweatshirt, black pants, brown boots, with a black scarf or mask covering his face which only exposed his eyes and part of his forehead.
- His forehead is described as being pitted and covered in acne.
No drugs were given to the suspect, who then fled on foot.
