LITH Police: Bicyclist Injured after Colliding with Car, Arrests for DUI, Juvenile Arrests

Juvenile Arrests

A 15-year-old Mt. Prospect girl was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Lake in the Hills Public Works building, 9010 Haligus Rd., and charged with driving without a valid drivers license, curfew violations, and improper turning leaving the roadway. She was released into the custody of her parents. 

Bicycle Accidents

A 22-year-old man was injured during a car vs. bicycle accident at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Algonquin Road and Lake Drive. The cyclist suffered a head and leg injury. He was transported to Sherman Hospital in Elgin. 

A car vs. bicycle accident was reported at 12:32 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, near the intersection of Miller and Albrecht roads. Property damage only was reported. 

DUI

Chaz R. Rosson, 25, of the 100 block of Glen Brook Terrace, McHenry, was arrested at 3:02 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance after he was stopped near All Safe Storage, 8801 Pyott Rd. He was released on bond. 

Enrique M. Guzman, 26, of the 10700 block of Timer Driver East, Huntley, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08, speeding and no insurance after he was stopped near Algonquin an Frank roads. He was released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Gerry Dominguez, 25, of the 200 block of Warwick Lane, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, on a warrant out of McHenry County for DUI. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond. 


Driving While License Suspended 

David A. Moreno, 40, of the 300 block of Tryon Ave., Woodstock, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, and charged with driving while license suspended after he was stopped at White Castle, 241 N. Randall Rd. He was released on bond. 

Daniel R. Frohling, 35, of the 2700 block of S. Vermont Rd., Woodstock was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and charged with driving while license suspended after he was stopped near Wentworth Drive and Algonquin Road. He was released on bond. 

Jeremy J. Lord, 26, of the 1500 block of Monroe St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, and charged with driving while license suspended, no proof of valid insurance and illegal lane usage after he was stopped at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Rd. He was released on bond. 

Driving While License Revoked

Lisa Gruver-Kamps, 43, of the 1000 block of Rose Farm Rd., Woodstock, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and charged with driving while license revoked after she was stopped at Costco, 250 N. Randall Rd. She was released on bond.

Lawn Ornaments Found

Numerous lawn ornaments found at 8:28 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, CVS, 4511 Algonquin Rd., Lake in the Hills. The items were entered into evidence. 

Halloween decorations were reported found at 10:03 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Rd., Lake in the Hills. The items were entered into evidence. 

Stolen

A ring was reported stolen at 1:49 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, from a home in the 100 block of Polaris Dr. The case was turned over to the Investigations Department. 

Copper and other miscellaneous items were reported stolen from a home in the 500 block of Blackhawk Dr. at 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. The case is pending investigation.
