LITH Police Arrests for DUI, Driving on Suspended Licenses

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

DUI

Chris Nikolaou, 22, 413 Starwood Pass, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 3:38 a.m. March 18, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08, and disobeying a traffic control device. Nikolaou was released on bond.

Anthony J. Santucci, 31, 512 Regan Dr., East Dundee, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. March 22, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. He was stopped by police at Wander Way and Algonquin Road. He was released on bond.

Driving While License Suspended

Mary E. Rozynek, 33, 210 Village Creek Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. March 19, and charged with driving while license suspended and not having valid insurance. She was stopped by police at Randall Road and Acorn Lane. She was released on bond.

Mitchell Moore, 19, 141 Bridlewood Circle, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 2:04 p.m. March 19, at Lakewood and Albrecht roads and charged with driving while license suspended, and not having valid insurance. Moore was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.

Michael Thomas, 32, 104 Quail Run, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 2:05 p.m. March 19, at Thornton's Gasoline Station, 2265 Algonquin Rd., and charged with driving while license suspended. Thomas was released on bond.

Cameron C. Stonge, 23, 143 Lakewood Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 3:44p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Rakow Road and Route 31 and charged with driving while license suspended and suspended registration. He also was wanted on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving while license suspended. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond.

William E. Grimes, 70, 46W934 Country Ln., Maple Park, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Route 47 and Ackman Road, and charged with driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.
