LITH Police Arrests for Domestic Battery and DUI

Lake in the Hills Police release arrest reports through Sept. 1, 2013.

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. 

Domestic Battery


Scott A. Templeman, 33, of the 200 block of Foxmoor Rd., Fox River Grove, was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Aug. 15, and charged with domestic battery, interfering with reporting of a domestic violence report and violation of an order of protection. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He was stopped in the 100 block of Polaris Drive.


Templeman was arrested again at 3:32 a.m. Aug. 17, and charged with violation of an order of protection in the 100 block of Polaris Drive. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

DUI


Michael Thompson, 42, of the 1300 block of Cunat Ct., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Aug. 16, at Virginia Road and Route 31 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use. He was released on bond. 

A 17-Year-old Lake in the Hills juvenile was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Aug. 16, at Lake Drive and Pheasant Trail and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, and disobeying a stop sign. The juvenile was released into the custody of a parent. 

Thomas R. Kunzendorf, 23, of the 600 block of Hillcrest Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 17, and charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08, and disobeying a traffic control device. He was released on bond. 

Leslie Pineda, 19, of the 600 block of Franklin Blvd., Elgin, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 18, and charged with driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs, improper lane use, no turn signal, no valid insurance, and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Pineda was released on bond. 

During the same police stop, Patricia Cabrera, 20, of the 800 block of Suzanne Ln., Elgin, was also arrested and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was given a notice to appear in court. 

Mirza Begimamovic, 30, of the 2600 block of West Catalpa, Chicago, was arrested at 4:10 a.m. Aug. 18, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, no valid insurance, and improper lane use. He was also wanted on a warrant out of Cook County.
